"What is next you may ask?" by Brenda Brush
Dear Friends,
At the moment, we are in between two Eclipses. We had a New Moon/Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo on August 1st. This started the whole thing. It has activated what is near and dear to you? Then, we will have a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees Aquarius, sitting with Neptune and Chiron on August 16th, which will bring about a healing. This may require some change in the way you think about things. This Lunar Eclipse is bringing the need to be charitable.
Venus joins Saturn on the 13th, and Mercury will do the same on the 15th. Saturn is in Virgo, and will be there until July 2010. Saturn’s intention is to draw attention to what needs to be fixed. What about your approach to the daily grind? Is that serving you well? Venus has to do with our values, quality of life, love, and money. Solutions to those issues will present themselves with the Venus/Saturn conjunction in Virgo. This begins a one year cycle, and it gives us plenty of opportunity to clean up those areas, and make better choices. Mercury is the Planet of the mind; how we think, what we think about, and how we make decisions. Mercury will join Saturn the day before the Lunar Eclipse.
The Mars/Uranus opposition, on the sixth of August, gave you a big wake-up call about your life. On that same day, the Planet Mercury was in opposition to Neptune, sending you deep into space, or it might be called overwhelm. The wake-up cal,l and what to do about it, has kept you in a state of not knowing. The answers will fall into place by the end of the month. The handwriting may be on the wall with some things. The Lunar Eclipse, sitting with Neptune, may require a surrender in order for solutions to come.
The only way to operate now is to deal with things as they come up; and, that which you have no control over, you just have to be patient and trust.
As this Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse approaches, the energy continues to get intense. The sign Aquarius wants us to get out of the personal arena, and put our energy into others. Aquarius is the sign of humanity and social causes. The Eclipse is conjunct Neptune and that just increases the need to be of service in a selfless way. The New Moon Solar Eclipse in 9 degrees of Leo that we had on the 1st of August is asking for heart felt generosity, this will affect us for a couple of years. The creative part of you needs space to be expressed. This Lunar Eclipse will affect us for the next 6 months. Both Eclipses will be activated every 90 days. The August 1st Solar Eclipse will be triggered when the Sun hits 9 degrees Scorpio on November 1st, and again at 9 degrees Aquarius on February 1st, and so forth. The Lunar Eclipse at 24 Aquarius will be triggered when the Sun hits 24 degrees Scorpio on November 16th, and again at 24 degrees Aquarius on February 16th when the Sun hits the point of the Eclipse. These dates will bring events that describe the efforts you need to make to satisfy the energy of these Eclipses, to have generosity of spirit, to come from the heart, to be creative, and to help causes whenever you have the chance to be of service.
There are two yearly cycles starting right before the Lunar Eclipse. This gives these cycles a lot more power. Venus is joining Saturn at 1:03 pm EDT on August 13th to start a yearly cycle at 9 degrees Virgo. Venus is the Planet that rules Taurus and Libra. Check your chart to see what house Taurus is on, and what house Libra is on. It will be those two houses that will be redefined now. A new sense of responsibility will be needed in these areas. You will organize, and get rid of what doesn’t work. Virgo gives you the facts. It could be a reality check in those areas. It is also a time to set your intentions, and to make your list for what you would like to accomplish. Taurus is money and cash flow; so, you will learn how that is going at this point, and what corrections you might need to make in spending. Taurus is also possessions; what you have, and the things you value. This Venus/Saturn conjunction will point out what needs tending to. Venus also rules Libra, and that is the sign of relationships. Diplomacy, compromise, and cooperation are all attributes required in our relationships. You will find out where you stand in that department with this conjunction, and what you need to work on during the year. You will find out what kind of cooperation you have from a partner.
Mercury is joining Saturn at 4:00 pm EDT on August 15th to start a yearly cycle at 9 degrees Virgo. Mercury is the Planet that rules Gemini and Virgo. Check your chart to see what house Gemini is on, and what house Virgo is on. Mercury rules all communication; the way we connect with our communities. The way we get around, which, for most people, is driving their car. All forms of communication are under Mercury’s domain. Gemini is all day to day communication. Talking and listening, whether it is light chatter, or serious information. Virgo is the sign that edits and sorts. Virgo puts it all to use through daily service. All the information that Gemini stirs up is what Virgo sorts out to see what is useful, and what is not. On the 15th, you will get a reality check in both of those areas. How you handle information will be the issue; whether you are giving it or receiving it. This is certainly not a time for gossip nor idle chatter. You will be setting your intention or making your list for what you want to accomplish in these areas of your chart. All of your day to day matters will be redefined. We have already discussed the fact that Saturn will be in Virgo until July 2010, and we are to get organized and healthy. Our daily routines is under scrutiny. You need to make your routine healthy and more interesting, so you don’t feel like it is all drudgery. The house that Virgo is on in your chart is where you are working all the time. That area is a gift that requires daily attention.
There are 12 signs of the Zodiac, and there are 12 houses in your horoscope. Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, and Libra are on four houses of your horoscope. Venus and Mercury, joining Saturn this week, are asking for attention in these four areas. It looks like we are going to be on a short leash for a couple of weeks, until we figure out the plan for the year are for these areas. The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on the 16th is carrying the energy of these two cycles, and giving them more of an urgency. I think we better get our act together.
There is another point that I need to discuss, and that is Mars and Pluto. Mars is the Planet of action. It rules everything from our adrenals, muscular system, physical exercise, competition, to all out conflict. Pluto is Mars’ big brother. Pluto is deep transformation that requires intense focus. Mars and Pluto come together every two years to start a cycle. Mars joined Pluto to begin the current cycle that it is in on January 13th, 2007 at 27 degrees Sagittarius. The intense focus that brings about changes began on that date. Where is Sagittarius in your chart? That area has had intense focus the last 18 months. On September 21st, 2008 Mars reached Full Phase with Pluto; then, Mars went retrograde last November, and it returned to its Full Phase on January 2nd, 2008, while retrograde. Mars went direct on January 30th, and it came to a Full Phase with Pluto a third time on March 7th. That was surely a long protracted Full Phase. It gave us a long period of intensity to bring our attention to what needs protecting. A Full Phase brings things to fruition. The last quarter phase is the time when we take responsibility, and Mars is last quarter to Pluto on August 17th. This is a time that demands appropriate actions to protect what is important to you. This Mars/Pluto cycle, which started a little over 18 months ago, is now about to give results. There may be some intensity this week with the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, Venus and Mercury joining Saturn, and Mars last quarter square to Pluto.
The next new two year cycle, with Mars and Pluto, will be December 28th, 2008 at 1 degree of Capricorn. Every time Mars joined Pluto to start a new cycle in the last 13 years, it has been in the Sagittarius part of your chart. This new cycle, that is coming in December, is finally out of Sagittarius. We will begin 16 years of Mars/Pluto cycles in Capricorn. That will be all about building a better system.
Mars rules Aries and Scorpio; so, we can add two more houses to the list that require attention. This is now half of the horoscope. Gemini and Virgo with Mercury, the ruler, conjunct Saturn. Taurus and Libra with Venus, the ruler, conjunct Saturn. Aries and Scorpio with Mars the ruler square to Pluto. Oh! I almost forgot about the Sun and the Moon. The Sun rules Leo, and the Moon rules Cancer. They are busy with their Eclipses; so, that adds the Cancer and Leo house to our list. Let’s just say that this is a wonderful opportunity, with this planetary energy, to get a lot done. We can certainly learn a lot, and de-clutter a few things that really need it. You will feel sooooooo much better.
On August 16th, 2008 at 5 :16 pm EDT there will be a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees Aquarius 21 minutes. This Eclipse is asking for some detachment. You need to take care of things without burying yourself in the issues. This Lunar Eclipse is also conjunct Chiron and Neptune. This is incredible healing energy; so, if things are brought up during this time that are giving you stress, just know that this Lunar Eclipse carries with it the tools to heal it. This is an incredible time of change. Jump on the band wagon and join the parade of change. Changes for the better!
Blessings,
Brenda
