Dear Friends,
The Eclipse in Leo has happened, and we are in the spotlight in that area of our charts. This will usher in a period that will ask us to step up to the plate and deal with something that shows our integrity. Where Leo is in our chart we like to do things in a big way. We may be a little over the top sometimes. We will find out how much over the top we have been, and whether we now have to take some things down a notch. The big ideas that we have had over the last few years will now have to be adjusted to see how they fit into what we can really do or handle. Leo is a very generous, warm, and creative sign that now has to show its strength. It is a very strong fixed fire sign that handles things with integrity. The house that Leo is on in your chart is the department of your life where you exhibit those qualities.

This Eclipse will expose us, in one way or another, how we are in that area. Where Leo is in your chart is where you shine. This Eclipse is bringing to the surface your need to feel special, and shine. It is time to shine no matter what is going on. Mars will be in opposition to Uranus on August 6^th. Mars is in Virgo going over our life with a fine tooth comb. You will find out that where the schedule you have created for yourself leaves you no space for recharging your batteries. Uranus is the Planet of change, and when it lines up with any other Planet it wants us to do things in a new way. Uranus always wants an upgrade, in this case it is our schedule; the daily grind. You may find, new and better ways to get things done that before were drudgery. It is time to be excited about what you do everyday. Mars is where action is required, Uranus is change, and it is all being played out in your work environment, your schedule, your health, and anything else that you do repeatedly. Look at your life, and the situations that you repeat over and over. This is the habitual nature of the sign Virgo, and it is necessary for our daily routine, but not other things in our life that we need to let go of or change. We are what we habitually do. Maybe you need to take a look at what you do over and over, and maybe, then you will find out who you are. We may just find out how stuck we are, and move out of a rut to new and exciting ways of doing things.

A Mars Uranus opposition can be a volatile energy. The need for change being set off by Mars is an action that releases a lot of pent up energy. During this period of time, it is wise to stay grounded with the energy of change, so you can direct it in positive ways. You can’t be in control of someone else’s behavior, so stay out of their way if they are on the rampage. This may just be a venting time for some people. There is a need to blow off steam. This creates a reaction for some to say, “I’m outta here!” If things are erupting don’t throw gasoline on the fire. If you have been putting up with a frustrating situation for a long time, the few days around this opposition will cause you to not tolerate it anymore. If this kind of energy comes up, handle it in an appropriate way. With the Eclipse emphasizing the Leo part of our charts, we could get our egos bruised. Take it with integrity. Show everyone what kind of person you are. Virgo is the sign that has to do with service, the people who serve you, and how you serve others. Saturn in Virgo for the next couple of years is making us take responsibility for what goes on with those things. Mars passed Saturn in Virgo on July 10^th, and has now moved deeper into Virgo to make the opposition to Uranus. This is happening now, and then Mars will move on its way. Another way this Mars aspect may manifest itself is the changing of the people who are of service to your needs. This could be Doctor, Nurse, Beautician, Nail Tech, and on a grander scale, the Armed Services. The changes could be in your own work. There could be a change or an opportunity for you to do so. This could signal an end to the way our troops are serving in Iraq, and the beginning of change. Saturn is moving slower than Mars through Virgo. Mars will be out of Virgo on August 19^th. Saturn will be there until July 2010. Mars gets up to the opposition of Uranus before Saturn does. It is a major cycle when Saturn opposes Uranus on November 4^th, and dances around in that energy for a couple of years. This will bring a needed change in the way we structure our lives, and the way the structure we count on, externally, is shaped.

This Mars Uranus opposition on August 6^th may be giving us a heads up for what the Saturn Uranus opposition will bring in November. It will show us what we need to do to be ready for the longer term changes that will be brought about when Saturn gets there. The Planet Mercury joined Neptune on March 9^th. Mercury has to do with our logical mind, and our ability to think clearly and make decisions. Neptune has to do with inspiration and dreams. Neptune can also bring some confusion, lack of boundaries, or a lot of uncertainty, because of not seeing clearly. Also, at that time, we had a New Moon on March 7^th conjunct Uranus. That was setting the stage for what may be revealed when Mercury makes an opposition to Neptune. An opposition is a Full Phase. It is when things come to a head. Mercury will be in opposition to Neptune on August 6^th. Well, now the plot thickens, that is the same day that Mars is in opposition to Uranus. Things being revealed and exposed and surprises. These may be things that have been brewing for a long time. Mercury is the Planet that brings the news. It brings information and keeps us informed. There may be things that you haven’t known, nor been informed about, that you need to know to move forward. Maybe you will find out things that you didn’t know you needed to know. At any rate, Neptune will unveil what has been hidden when Mercury opposes it. Neptune can also be the energy of denial. Maybe there is stuff we didn’t want to see, and now there is no place to hide. At the very least, when things are exposed you can do something about them. Especially with Mars and Saturn in Virgo, the sign that loves to serve and fix things. It is time to get long term chronic problems in your self, or your life, fixed. This is a time to pay attention, because changes are in the air. What they mean to you, and how you adapt, lies with you. The more prepared you are and the more flexible you are, the better. If your life is already perfectly in control and orderly, then this may bring new ideas and awareness in your life. It may be a time when you have the opportunity to raise your consciousness to a much higher level of understanding. It is definitely time to take the high road, and get your day to day life more fulfilling. Create space to breath. Less is more. Enjoy this journey that gives you the opportunity for growth.
